Welcome, Daniel Karlsson—New CEO of KCEM

Experience from industry, government agencies, and safety-critical operations. Daniel Karlsson is now taking over as CEO of KCEM and, together with members, customers, and employees, will continue to develop the industry’s center of excellence.

We are pleased to welcome Daniel Karlsson as the new CEO of KCEM.

Daniel most recently comes from Eurenco in Karlskoga, where he has held several leadership roles over the past eight years, most recently as head of flammable and explosive materials. He also has experience from both the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, which has given him a broad understanding of operations where safety, responsibility, and continuous improvement are crucial.

KCEM is an established center of excellence for the industry and contributes to safe, secure, and competent development through training programs, conferences, networking, and expert consulting support. With a strong member focus and an extensive network, we continue to serve as a natural meeting place for the exchange of experiences, collaboration, and professional development.

The industry today faces both opportunities and challenges. Increased demands for expertise, safety, innovation, and capacity mean that the need for collaboration and knowledge sharing is becoming increasingly important. Here, KCEM has a central role to play by gathering experiences, strengthening expertise, and contributing to long-term sustainable development.
