SOEX focuses on the role of the safety representative and provides participants with a solid foundation on which to collaborate in the work environment. Safety representatives can influence the work environment and are expected to do so. During the year, we have developed the training to provide even greater opportunities for both knowledge enhancement and networking. Instead of one continuous course, the training is now divided into two parts. It will start with four intensive days to lay the foundations, followed by a few weeks' break for reflection and application in your own work. Participants then come back together for another three days, where we continue to build knowledge, share experiences and strengthen the network. The training is aimed at safety representatives - both operators and officials - working in the explosives industry. Participants should have completed a general basic training for safety representatives and have some experience in the role, but this is not a requirement. The new approach creates better conditions for long-term development and collaboration, where the network built up during the training becomes a valuable support in the continued work environment.
